Iron Grip Expands Into New Production Facility

May 2001, Costa Mesa, CA –Iron Grip Barbell Company -- the largest commercial free weight provider worldwide -- continues to grow, having recently expanded into a new production facility. The new manufacturing area is immediately adjacent to the company’s original corporate headquarters in Costa Mesa, California. Iron Grip is one of the few commercial free-weight equipment companies to operate their own manufacturing facility in the United States. The new facility boasts a state of the art, custom-designed and built Urethane injection molding line and houses Iron Grip’s computer-controlled custom engraving equipment. Iron Grip will utilize this facility to build their unique line of Urethane free-weight equipment, for engraving their Solid Steel line of dumbbells and fixed barbells, and for the design and layout of custom engraved Olympic plates and dumbbells.
