Iron Grip Barbell Company Expands Into New Larger Facility
Iron Grip Barbell Company, the largest commercial free weight provider worldwide,
continues to grow having recently moved to a new, larger facility. At nearly double
the size of the previous location, the new building will house the corporate headquarters,
production, warehouse, shipping and receiving all under one roof.
The new building is located at 4012 Garry Avenue, in Santa Ana, California. Iron Grip
had occupied its previous facility in Costa Mesa for just over four years, after moving
from the original headquarters, also in Orange County. Iron Grip will retain its existing
phone and fax numbers, as well as e-mail addresses and web site.
"We have really been looking forward to finally having more space," said Donna
McCallum, National Sales Manager for Iron Grip Barbell Company." Over the past few years,
Iron Grip has experienced phenomenal growth in both sales and manufacturing, and
we expect that trend to continue into 2003 and beyond. Our new building should be sufficient
to handle our growth, at least for the immediate future."
Iron Grip is one of the only commercial free weight equipment companies to operate its
own manufacturing facility in the United States. The new facility will house a state-of
-the-art, custom-designed and built urethane injection molding line and Iron Grip's
computer controlled custom engraving equipment. Iron Grip will use the new space to produce
their various lines of Iron Grip and IGX equipment, including the unique line of Urethane
free-weight equipment, the Solid Steel line of dumbbells and fixed barbells, and custom
engraved Olympic plates and dumbbells.
